Delaware Court Records
The Delaware Courts website helps the public understand and navigate Delaware’s judicial system. It shows the different courts in Delaware and explains their roles within the system. It also describes how the court system is organized, from lower trial courts like the Superior Court and the Court of Chancery up to the Delaware Supreme Court, the state’s highest appellate authority.
Delaware courts allow public access to court records in accordance with the state laws, such as the Superior Court's Policy on Public Access (Directive 2000-5) and Chancery Court Rule 5.1. The law also describes the public’s right to view and obtain copies of court records from government agencies. While this website provides general information to assist the public in accessing Delaware Public Records, it does not offer official court documents or provide legal advice.
